Our Story
In 1965 our family opened the Italian Cottage Restaurant in Chico, CA, still owned and operated by mom & brother. The Italian Cottage is proud to have been voted “Best Italian Restaurant” as well as “Best Breakfast” in Chico.
In 1982 we expanded the family business to Davis, CA and opened Caffe' Italia, owned & operated by myself and my wife, we have been serving Yolo County for twenty-two years, and have been voted “Best Breakfast in Yolo County” for 10 years running, and “Best Italian Restaurant”.

favorite Caffe' Italia menu items, along with many fresh and exciting
new ideas and concepts to with with the restaurant name, including a
full bar.We are always dedicated to serving delicious dishes, dressings and sauces made in our own kitchens using the highest quality and freshest ingredients. (Look for Caffe' Italia's own dressings).
We are cooking up daily our own original recipes, and keeping with the times by creating new ones with the help of our great staff and customer requests. We offer something special for breakfast, lunch and dinner, every day!
We are family owned, and love to host families. As our family grows and we continue our traditions, from Caffe' Italia, to Dancing Tomato Caffe' and the next generation.
